A: Early planning is recommended to align staffing needs with recruiting, documentation, and visa processing timelines.

Q: Are placements guaranteed?

A: No. Placements depend on district needs, candidate availability, qualifications, and program requirements.

Compliance and Oversight

Q: Who is responsible for compliance with J-1 regulations?

A: Designated J-1 program sponsors maintain regulatory oversight. Skill-Link USA supports coordination and communication but does not provide legal or immigration advice.

Q: What happens if a placement does not work out?

A: Situations are addressed in coordination with the district and program sponsor to determine appropriate next steps based on program guidelines.
